3 Steps To Find Website Copywriting Jobs

We’re going to look at Freelancewriting.com first. (Note that this site is going through a renovation, so things are bit disorganized.) You can also subscribe to this site on Facebook, which will give you feeds to writing jobs.
1. Under the logo there are several headings, one of which is Writer’s Guidelines. Clicking on that brings up the Magazine Guidelines Database, which as a wide variety of magazine topics.
When you click on these headings, you’ll see a list of magazines. Since my background is in computers, I’m going to go for that section, and as I scroll down, I see one on gaming, which I decide to click on.
2. The next pages gives displays a short summary that gives me information about the magazine and a hyperlink to the Writer’s Guidelines. When you click on the link, it will often display the same information as the summary, but not always.
Regardless, I open Notepad and copy all the information for later reference. When I do this is use a separator for each magazine and I save each search by subject. That way there’s no overlap or possibility of confusion.
3. Now I’m ready to look at The Guide to Online Guidelines. As you’ll see, there’s nothing fancy about this directory. Essentially, it’s a long list and it doesn’t have any search functions, so it could take you a long time to find what you’re looking for. Simply click on a link and you’ll get more information about the magazine.
Again, I recommend that you copy all the information here into a Notepad document. (Note: This site hasn’t been updated for a long time, so be aware that some of the links are broken and a number of the magazines no longer exist.) Still, it’s a good directory and you could strike gold here.
